Get Involved

AIGA San Francisco is run by a dedicated board of directors and by equally devoted committee members. These volunteers offer their time and energy to help run AIGA events and programs. Each board member directs their attention to one of AIGA's several initiatives on design.

AIGA SF Enrichment Scholarship

AIGA San Francisco offers graphic design students the opportunity to enter a scholarship competition.

Portfolio Day

Each year, AIGA San Francisco presents the largest Portfolio Day for students on the West Coast.

Rick Tharp Design Scholarship

The Rick Tharp Design Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Rick Tharp, a world-class graphic designer whose work influenced the entire design industry.

Environment

Compostmodern

Compostmodern is an interdisciplinary, one-day design conference dedicated to promoting sustainable design as an everyday practice and mode of thinking, rather than a niche way of working.

Environmental Leadership Award

Every other year, the committee presents the Environmental Leadership Award to a firm or client that best exemplifies the marriage of design and environmental considerations.
