Education Co-Chair

Ravinder Basra has over 12 years’ experience in teaching and developing design related subjects in both undergraduate and graduate programs in the U.S. and in the U.K. Ravinders’ background has involved teaching web design, motion graphics and print design, as well as extensive curriculum development work. Research interests include the integration of technologies and learning processes into design curricula. In addition, she has also worked on a number of design projects for the San Francisco Center for the Book, University of San Francisco, International Executive Rental Agency and participates in judging major design competitions including BDA (Broadcast Design Association) yearly awards for motion graphics work. Ravinder is currently the Education Chair on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco AIGA office. She holds a Master’s degree in Visual Communication, majoring in Multimedia Design, from the University of Central England in Birmingham, U.K.
